Publisher and purpose

KeychainX operates this resource and offers commercial wallet recovery services. MultiBit HD is the original developers’ project; this site is not an official continuation, endorsement or software update. Our goal is to make historical recovery evidence and source code easier to inspect.

What was checked

The original repository was retrieved at the stated commit. Selected source bytes are reproduced unchanged, with file hashes and original license notices. The guides were prepared with AI assistance using those files and primary documentation. Local checks cover generated links, metadata, source hashes and page structure.

What was not tested

We did not run the legacy wallet, build the original Java project, execute its test suite, recover a client wallet, benchmark password searches or perform a migration for this publication. Source-level explanations should not be mistaken for those tests. Historical comments can be incomplete; check the full dependency chain before implementing cryptographic behavior.

Corrections

Email mail@keychainx.io with the page URL, source revision and a reproducible explanation. Do not send recovery words, passwords, private keys or unrequested wallet attachments.

Privacy

The static technical-library pages contain no wallet upload form, analytics script or secret-entry field. The host may keep access logs. The surrounding WordPress website and linked external services may have separate behavior. Downloads contain source text and notices only.
